Reminds me of a friend whose house caught fire and was sat on a chair with a glass of something near the blaze when the fire crew said he had to move. He couldn't resist a quote from Sheridan who, in similar circumstance when the Drury Lane Theatre burnt down, said " "A man may surely be allowed to take a glass of wine by his own fireside."
