Knives/short swords of a form like the middle one in the first pic and the example in the second are more often designated as "Sica."

They are very effective against light armoured opponents and from testing a battle ready steel Sica I can say that they are quite swift as well :)!

Yes used mostly by the Dacians and Thracians! It is almost like a light weighted kopis or falcata!
